epoxy on bare plastic?

ive got a little project im painting up , my usual plastic primers that i have here didnt stick very well

would it be worth trying some epoxy direct to the plastic ?

Most likely a waste of time, it's probably polyolefin based and will need a thorough washing, grey scotch and a dedicated adhesion promoter such as u-pol S2003. Then normal primer over that.
