It's a minefield if you want a quiet life don't bother renting it out. We even have to test the temperature of the water and check tenant has cleaned the shower head!!!

I'm glad I'm out of it, I looked after renting out my mums house to go towards her residential care costs, finally put it up for sale a few months ago so shortly I will have a few bob to spend on new toys a new kitchen for Mrs Robo

We considered renting out our previous property while it was up for sale after moving to the greater North…we even had a ready tenant….but with it being 150 mile away if anything went wrong…..it was a long journey to fix…
…and after watching many a rental property program on tv sort of put the lid on it…glad we sold in the end, life is less complicated now..

That’s why I sold my rental property, the couple in their 20’s who were staying there would call me to come and change a lightbulb, it was an 80 mile round trip

I would have inoiced them! my tennant called a couple of days ago. Oh I have dropped something behind the fridge can you come and move the fridge out for me please. My answer was no.
