Entry level car diagnostics reccomendations

I have a Foxwell for LR - I find it frustrating, but it was free so it's handy to keep in the car 'just in case' and I still have an AutoLogic for LR if I need to go b@lls-deep

no you dont. you need a subscription for updates. so just pay when you NEED a update (ie you have a new car come in that your current software doesnt support)

As long as it's not like some of the PLC software suppliers, if you don't update for a couple of years when you come to update it they charge for the previous years as well

Good to know. A guy who runs a garage told me that, guess I should have known he wanted to discourage me from owning a diagnostic tool lol.
