Looking for new bastard and second cut files, must be double cut and 12" long. Need something good quality that doesn't cost the earth for regular DIY use. I'm really fed up of wasting money on fleabag junk

Anyone have any recommendations / favourites ?

I have a few stubbs files and found them excellent, i don't know where you can get them. Grobet files are great but expensive.

You wouldn't go far wrong with Bahco IMO.

another vote for bahco. I have 3 or 4 of each cut in flat, half round, round and tri square.

We use bacho at work. Last well

Ok Bahco it is then. More affordable than the Nicholson files
