Engineering drawing stencils

I'm looking to buy a syencil, or stencils to make drawing P&ID's etc a bit less labour intensive. I only really need some basic symbols like a standard valve, 3 way valve and what not. Anyone know of a UK source for these sort of things?

Maybe download them and send them to a laser shop for cutting out of thin plastic.
Most any vinyl lettering shop could probably do that for you.

If its only a quick off the cuff hand drawn pid isn't just a sketch okay?
I mean it's just a few triangles and circles if you only want basics....

If it was important you'd just bang it out on a computer... surely not draw up a complex pid by hand?

Either that or just get a geometric shape template, that has triangles, squares/circles...

I know its not, but having done the same exams 30 years or so ago Im familiar with what he's after. Its actually aprocess flow diagram stencil hes looking for. Too many options used for a P&ID for one stencil, also different styles too.

I wonder what the companies that do solder paste stencils charge? Somewhere like JLCPCB would probably make you a handful of nice stencils in thin stainless for next to nothing.

Yes that’s true, I don’t need too many symbols really, just a few to speed up sketching some diagrams whilst keeping it neat

You really want translucent plastic so you can see thru it to position it better.
