engine up and running
put in full set of pistons and bid the big end bearings as well
the mechanic reckoned it was just the badly designed piston as he couldn't find anything else wrong there was one slightly bent valve which must have happened when the piston came a apart so got a replacement and while it was being ground in it broke in two haves
you should have seen his face and i was beginning to think that there was a poltergeist in the engine somewhere
got a replacement and that one was okay
now the poltergeist seems to have moved to the tractor as the transmission doesn't sound too good
changed the filters this morning just to make sure they were okay but all the oil is foaming and the tractor seems to be under pressure if you try revving up while moving not looking forward to finding out what is wrong as I have a feeling it's going to be £££££££££
