I have a Creality Ender 3 Pro I have been modifying it over time and rather than get rid of it I want to keep it.
First thing was to fit the BTT driver kit and display which was a vast improvement.
After that came a housing for the printer.
Followed by a second z axis motor on the none driven side which then naturally meant I needed to brace the towers.
My latest mod was to fit a sprite pro extruder kit and that is were I run into trouble.
When I installed it last year I recall seeing a bit of smoke when I ran it for a while.
It has sat in my shed unloved till recently when I decided to have a bit of a fiddle with it.
It feeds filament, it goes x axis, it goes y axis and it goes z axis.
But when I try to use the ABL function the Z axis drives up towards the top of the frame and then tells me I have an error.
I have tried to change the G-code 0 for the Z but when I run ABL it is back up in the frame.
I have read about broken wires in the loom but mine check out ok.
Maybe someone on here could point me in the right direction to get my Ender 3 Pro working again, I cannot afford a new machine and to be honest when it was working I had it dialled in nicely. I have enough ability and knowledge to get into G code so am not totally hopeless.
