End caps?

Need them to fit 1 1/4 tube.

Does anyone know where to buy these from? B+Q don't seem to sell them, I've seen plastic ones but i'm not keen on them!

(or could anyone make any, for sensible price)

I'm only asking at the moment, deciding what to do.

I would be weiry of anything fitting, probably bought a few hundred tonne of the stuff and all different sizes. The bores not even round so cant see anything ever fitting without deforming too much.

You will notice the joints that are used are well undersize.

Easy enough to make just need the o/d and oval bore size of the batch of tube you have.

Extruded tube may not be round to a machinist but it's pretty damn close if you're a fabricator. What wall thickness tube are we talking about? 16swg/1.5mm, especially in larger diameters, is usually worse than heavier wall thickness but still (should be at least) only talking a few thou for the dia mentioned... ribbing the caps as per the link would (should) deal with random too loose/too tight but if we're talking decorative caps then personally i'd just make 'em towards the loose side of snug and use loctite/silicon on any loose ones. A posher (more expensive way) would be to O-ring 'em

The first question from anyone that'd potentially be up for making 'em is going to be 'how many are we talking?' and the second is gonna be 'wall thickness?'...
