our lass just payed my tax bill other month on line the following day gets an email of tax office I'm due a rebate of 400 quid please send us your bank details yea rito just been all sorted with the accountants . we got a reminder the next day saying about the rebait . someone must fall for it

There's some devious bra studs about. As you said there must be some who fall for it because it happens every year, I must get half a dozen at least.

theres another scam going to but phone!
if someone rings you and ask can you hear me don't reply yes.
I don't know how but they use your voice in fraud etc...

ive seen this doing the rounds but its another fake, what is supposed to happen is you answer the question as mentioned above, the caller askes can you hear me, people reply yes, which is recorded then allegedly edited and your voice saying yes is used to buy things or what ever, however there are no such reported crimes and without your card details or alike there is no chance anyone could do this anyway, nor would it stand up in court

Funnily enough my main email addy has just been hammered to hell and back today with 34 Tesco/Amazon/Boots you have won, free gift etc etc, they all came in as spam but you still have to run down the list checking nothing important is among there by mistake...grrrrrrrr

All a bit strange because I use throw away mail addy's most the time, I suspect a friends mail has been hacked allowing them to get mine from his contacts list, not to worry though...I have won £3.2 million on the Nigerian lottery so all in all it's been a good day.
