elliot omnispeed lathe opinions

i have a chance to buy a elliot omnispeed lathe for £600

2 4 jaw chucks and approx 4 foot bc

any opinions advice etc for this lathe

problem areas quick fixes etc

also does anyone know how big the motor is on them so i know how big a phase converter i need
