Thought I'd start a specific thread for this printer, as I know some of you have a version of this printer. Thought it may come in handy as a problems, mods etc. thread for them. Also as a thread for prints done on these machines.
Just set mine off on a 10 or so hour print to make this:
It's a top hat for the Sovol Zero. Its size is too large for the standard printers, so the Neptune has been enlisted. Was watching the first layer go down, & it's looking like I've managed to get the bed level dialled in now.
Did replace the springs underneath the bed, when I first got it, with the silicone alternatives. When I had the Ender 5 Pro, I used those, & it made the bed far less needy of frequent levelling, so this one has had the same treatment.
Printing this in Sunlu bone white PETG, no supports. I'm hoping it'll manage without supports for the section at the top which juts out. I'll know one way or the other in the morning.
