Im currently trying to diagnose a fault on a PCB, Iv worked my way through it and think iv found the problem, This is a picture from the microscope It looks like the power rail for one of the I/Cs. The 3 components are labeled D which you can see on the picture, however as they dont seam to have the line marking the Cathode side so Im wondering if there actually a protection fuse rather than a diode?.
Iv tested all 3 on a diode setting with the meter and on both bias there just showing an open circuit, everything else so far diode and triac seams to be within where id expect it to be.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
