IV bought a electrod holder,IV took the top of ,then do I pull on the brass bit to separate from rubber handle,it's a bohler elettrode

pretty sure you do, could also use a screw driver to push from the end,
then feed the cable through the end of the rubber handle,
thats my favorite type of holder
