Electrical switch help!

Hi folks I'm in need of either an 8 pole double throw switch or 2 (4pole double throw switches) but like a powered relay switch so that when I press my one one switch on it connects the negative and positive to there right places but without any of the wires touching. Just with one switch press rather than 8 switches. Sorry if I'm not making much sense but I know exactly what I mean in my head I might write it down on a diagram and upload it tomorrow. Of and the power supply can be 12v or 24v to activate the switches. I've looked for 8 pole double throw manual switches but can't find any that aren't £100's just sumin cheap and effective without a mass of switches is what I need. Any help greatly appreciated

This sounds like a good bet you can leave the switches in too if you wanted to turn 1 part off its still doable too!

I would use a single switch with 2 relays. If you are desperate i can send you 2 4 pole relays for postage cost. I believe they are 24v, i am using a laptop power supply at 19v and they run fine. Have about 10 lying spare

or you could use 2 switches and have each switch run a single relay if you want to be able to knock one circuit out and still run the other. Pm me if you need the relays

As I need them to run the original circuits when the relays are not in use?

That's a fairly common 4 pole changeover relay, what sort of current does it need to carry?

if using two 4pole relays how about using the coils in series, if it is critical that they switch together ie by using 24v control voltage BUT use two 12V coils then if one doesnt switch for whatever reason then they both dont? also all the neutral/negative could be switched together on one contactor, and the live on the other.
The other way to do it might be a four normal pole contactor with add on switches, some can have top switches that can be stacked but most are 2nc+2no. Or there are multi pole lighting contactors that can have as many as needed.
