Oh no my day goes from bad to worse I was hoping to be able to dispense with my daisy chained extension sockets tommorow. LolFirst one is what lookse to be a pre 17th split load board (one main switch and one bank of circuits protected by that one RCD...if one circuit on that bank has a fault, then all the circuits protected by that RCD lose power.
Second is a garage board with an RCD main switch
The RCD switches both the neutral and the live.
Basically IIRC the RCD monitors the balance between live and neutral in terms of current flow and if the flow becomes unbalanced then the RCD trips out, say for example by current flowing through earth. (though I'm half frozen so my explanation might be off a bit)
Wylex board would be easier to get bits for, the design is still current, basically I'd ditch the RCD and go all RCBO, there is room to cover every circuit you want and still have a couple of spaces spare.

The original supply was fitted when they built the garage back in the 70's .My whole garage is fed from the kitchen ring main and that has an RCD on it so if I have a fault I loose the whole garage plus the kitchen power.....
I do have an emergency light in the garage so I can see how to get out and go indoors to reset the power and receive a bollocking off the missus!
That top board will be fine for the power and the other for the lights.
How come you have two supplies to the workshop?
Yep. Old cables purely for lighting. So the newer cable will feed the power board?
Only got single phase.Sounds good to me, both on the same phase?
