electric wiring help please

right
i recently purchased a harrison m300 3phase lathe(twin voltage moter)
now upon looking at it theres a brown,black,blue and green/yellow wire coming out of the lathe

are these true 3phase machines??
in my workshop theres split phase electrics ie-2 lives,1 neutral + earth

i got a bit of headscratching now as to weather the 2 are a straight fit together

is it as easy as just wiring them toghther??

if you have split phase you will need to run the motor through an inverter or a rotory converter

it was installed 30 years ago as a milking parlour and dairy and was decided that 1 line wouldnt supply enough power for all the equipment

the fuses are probability on the same phase so you only have 230V to N and between the 2 live there is 0V. would be worth getting a decent spark to give it the once over before you go adding new kit especial big lumps of metal kit in case the earthing is suspect. a fast way to tell if you do have 2PH (400V single to be accurate) is to follow the wiring back to the pole mounted transformer and see how many 11KV wires there are if there is 3 then you probability have 400V single. or upload picture of pole transformer (presuming overhead kit here) and i can tell you

the earth in the workshop is good as i havent long renued it

theres 3 phase on the pole outside,and 2 single phases running to the 'shop
IIRC there was 480v printed on the outside of the fuse box in the 'shop many many moons ago

but theres defo 2 banks of 240 in there and 1 neutral


looked at the lathe today breifly and theres 3 lives and no neutral +1earth

yep but when you set it up turn down the DC brake to 0 or you might stop the machine to fast and cause damage. there very helpful people so give them a ring with the motor details and what you plan to do they will advise you the best one and what settings etc we use them at work

all up n runningbut......

whilst talking to inverter sales men,1 said to wire the coolant pump in parralel with the main motor
and another said 1 moter per inverter

my coolant pump is .22amp,the main moter is 9amp and the inverter will handle 9.6 amps

will they work in parralel?????
im gonna ring in the morning and ask again,just asking for more oppinions on here first

i have always worked on one motor one inverter but if there both always on then can't see why it wouldn't work together in parallel.
