im looking for an electric welder to weld up 1/8" sheet metal on cars, basic stuff like exhaust, intake manifolds, body panels stuff like that. I know gas is the way to go but thats not feasible for me. Also, it has to be a 110volt AC welder so I can bring it anywhere. I'm flexible on price so just let me know. Thanks.

where in the world are you? I guess at the USA because of the 110volts?

A Clarke 130EN will do.
At full power, it draws 20 amps on 110, so you can't really "bring it anywhere". Needs a dedicated outlet and a 12/3 (preferably 10/3) extension cord for full power.
For less then full power, it can be used anywhere.
The Lincoln Electric 140T will do also.

The 130EN will barely do 1/8" aluminum. You would really want something more heavy duty for Al work. You must use gas for Al welding, pure argon. Steel can use gasless wire (real messy but works) or Ar/CO2 mix.
You will need to look locally for a place to fill tanks. You do not have to rent them, just buy a tank and pay per refill.
I have used my 130EN for Alum. Get some 0.035 4043 wire. Forget 0.030 as you will need a spool gun to feed it.
For things that will not get hot 5356 wire is stiffer and feeds better. It also runs hotter. It is not recommended for things that run over 150 degrees F. However, it seems that limitation is when welding different grades of aluminum.
Al welding with MIG takes practice and will have cold starts. Real hard to do leak-free welding on AL because of this.
It will do exhaust welding with no problem.
With shipping, that is about what i paid for mine.
