Does anyone have a recommendation. Our lilac tree came down in the storms last week so is an incentive to buy one.

Pruning shears do a better job, making a clean cut.

since i still use basic tools for the garden

electric isnt as good as the ratchet shears for some stuff but a small handheld chainsaw is better

the roses and hedges in my garden need to be cut with the ratchet shears or i still use a wood saw

small handshear work can be done with electric or battery shears

I suffer with arthritus in my elbows.....those batt shears were just not enough, well fast enough...
I bought long handle shears, Branch cutters< took em to bits and sharpen'd to a razer edge.....just brill....
waiting till the hand held batt mini chain saw comes on offer for the 1/2"- 2" stuff....
a no name batt ch/saw is over €300 here....seem to remember the Milwauke ones are almost 800.....!!!!!!!
