Electric pencil

I have been having a major clean out prior to moving and if its not being used its being outed.
I have an 240v Electric Pencil that was part of a job lot of Mill tooling I purchased a few years ago.
I have had a quick look and cant find anything similar so as to base a price on. Has anyone got any idea what this is worth - if anything.

if it works ive seen them go for a tenner up to 20 quid at autojumbles good for marking the size on hss taps and dies

Search for 'Actograph' it is a trade name for a similar product

It's a "markonus" electric pencil, works like a mini ark welder, with various settings, I've had mine for yrs,cromwell tools sold them & they were £130 a few yrs ago but as bs says you can pick them up at autjumbles for £10-£20, that is if you can find them! they're good for marking hardened tools where a burgess type won't look at them & they don't damage the surface like a vibration type does, the downside is the needles are expensive,they're made of a special alloy steel, I tried using a solid carbide rod but had to buy the real thing.Not sure if cromwell still sells them or the needles.

I use a small TIG tungsten in my Actograph as the electrode and it works well. Mind you it takes a bit of getting used to to write neatly
