The Shadow 2 units are quite widely used, spare lamps are available too.
Loads of hassle when the smoking ban came in with requests for odd sized lamps. It's the first thing to check.

I've got one I use for working outside in winter. Works fine but thirsty on power if used for long periods and replacement lamps expensive. Mate has a propane patio heater and would be my choice for just sitting outside.

Mine doesn't really heat much but rather takes the chill off making being outside acceptable rather then enjoyable !

The only problem with chimnea's is the sparks we had a do and a few turned up with new expensive fleeces, well in the morning their fleeces did stop much wind .....put it that way
