I've just seen this mig welder for sale for £80. I need low amps for bodywork and the range is said to be 15 - 120 amp.
Never heard of this make, any feed back ?
What's the model Pete? According to their website, their smallest one is 30-140A. I'm guessing it's second hand for £80 so it may be an old model. 15A is exceptionally low, I've never seen specs for a mig with a bottom setting that low (and I've googled for an awful lot of machines since I joined this forum ) . You can easily get away with 30A on bodywork if you use 0.6mm wire. Electra Beckum is now Metabo btw.
i have their small inverter, the 130/40 profiline. very compact and light, welds very nicely (stick). most of their machines are nice, but some of their cheaper mig machines aren't really special compared to a normal (cheap) diy-store machine.
