Hi all, just bought the above mig in a non working condition, guy who sold it said all was well for 7years then one day just refused to start. Have checked under cover an all looks ok. nothing obvious. Was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or can send me some good close up shots of thier welder so i can confirm all is wired correctly. If not any of you pro's who can point me in the right direction? Have checked for a power supply and switch operation both ok. Negative feed to contactor seems to go from switch to circuit board but not reaching contactor, suspect board problem but i,m no electronics wizard and am now stumped. Maybe I am completly wrong please advise.

Hi M8,

My first post, but i'll try to help you out.

Do you get gas on trigger pull?

Do you get Wire Feed on trigger pull?

If you are getting nothing at all, try this, with the machine turned on ( at lowest voltage), pull the torch trigger, and then give the relay on the pcb a gentle tap with an insulated screwdriver handle, if you get a blip from the machine, it could be the relay contacts that have pitted, or the relay coil gone open circuit.

I take it you have continuity through the torch trigger, through the euro block to the board?

Also check the fuses for the auxilliary transformer, this provides the pcb working voltage, and without that, you will get nothing at all.

A few things to try...hope it helps

Hello again, Think we have welder problem diagnosed, Have open circuit on input side of auxilliary transformer. Anyone have a spare for this welder? (or know where to get one). Thanks Paul
