As aforementioned in the Today I Acquired thread I've bought an Einhell Brush cutter listed as an "Amazon return" on eBay.
(Excuse then if there's some crossover).
The ad said it was incomplete but came in the original, albeit battered Einhell box. Listed as having the blade and strimmer head missing along with some bolts, it's actually complete save for the shoulder sling/body harness thing that you "hang" it from your shoulder.
It's 36V and the plan is to use it with Makita 18V batteries and 3D printed battery adapters like we've done successfully here with the Einhell 36V chainsaw.
I've started to strip it and found it's clearly been used in the garden. There's some pita wear on the blade change locking mechanism. Although this and the chainsaw are both Einhell and from their Power X Change range the moulding where the battery fits is different on each. Now an original Einhell battery might well fit both mouldings, my 3D adapter doesn't quite fit without some modding!
The original photo, the seller had two. Can't see the blade or strimmer head here:
However this is what turned up, c/w blade and strimmer head!
Clearly seen some use:
