Eiki cine film projector, information

I've got an old Eiki cine film projector and wondered if anybody has any knowledge about them?
It's missing a couple of belts but looks otherwise in good working order.
Here's a couple of pics,

It lights up and the motor works but thats all I know!
I've tried looking for a cine film forum but had no real luck so I've fallen back to the default font on all knowledge, the mig welding forum!

Ask on filmwasters forum, it's mostly still photography but some have knowledge of stuff like that

mrfuzzy is has got Elf on the case. It's made in Japan and looks really well made, heavy as well.
I think it takes 16mm film does that sound right?

Yup. 16mm film projector running at 24 fps, I'm guessing with optical sound - meaning it reads a printed sound track on the edge of the film. They're nice projectors which are easy to load and have a quite forgiving film transport path that's less likely to chew up your print than other brand projectors. Bulbs and other spares should still be readily available. We used to have about four of these pre-video projectors to run film loops at gigs and club nights, and they're still a fixture in galleries when showing art pieces on actual film (a rarity these days). I'm not sure it will have great value other than as a hobby interest piece now though.
