ebay remote locking kit

hi i have a wee yaris 2002 1.0

trying to fit remote locking kit. when i connect earth the doors lock and the system can unlock ok but it wont relock.

i have tried everything but cant get it to lock.

its a negative system. there is a vid on youtube but wiring diagram isnt great.

any ideas?

does your door switch work ok if my door is open on my car it will not lock

yep door switch works will lock and unlock doors ok.

have tried with door closed.

maybe faulty unit?

sure the negative for unlock isn't staying on?


it can't lock because it's stuck unlocking ?

control unit clicks to lock with earth wire connected.

press unlock and doors open.

press lock and nothing only way you can make it work is break the earth and reattached and locks lock automatically when connected

I think you need to check it with a meter or a bulb, sounds to me lick it won;t lock because it's stuck unlocking

(might not be... but testing will help you narrow it down)

the control unit isnt clicking. but ill check it out.

it clicks when it gets a signal from fob

its the multi block front door. you tube video said to make connection here. but it just showed colours to tap into but very sketchy.
