Ebay item location

I’ve noticed this a few times now but thought nothing it was a one off or an oddity.

When you click on an items location, ebay brings up a map showing the location, this one had me a little confused:

It appears that Leicester and Chelmsford have been mixed up

Anyone else get this? You can usually spot the mistake with a big place but when it’s a little town you could buy something thinking it’s 100 miles closer than it is.

I’ve noticed this as well,luckily geography is a favourite interest ,so I spot the mistake.

Its all the fault of Leicester . .. .

We sent some components to Braunstone . . . seemed to be taking a while to get there as they kept asking about them . . .

We finally got an email thanking us for the parts . . . but why had we sent them ?

Some guy in Braunstone, New South Wales now had a collection of expensive bits he had no use for

Did you not know that Leicester is migratory?
It flies south for the winter, fairly soon it will migrate north to its breeding grounds in the East Midlands.

I am going to be a little logical here, maybe the map is drafted by the postcode but the pointers name by the town name on the persons location? or maybe its just a f'up
