Ebay Global Shipping Program

I don't regularly sell stuff on ebay, bit of a headache with their automatic this and that.
Anyway.. some bike stuff I listed as UK only post only due to size, unknown to me.. ebay nicely opted me into international GSP sales and all 3 things sold outside uk so I need to post to their Lichfield GSP centre.

Can I/anyone just bowl up and drop parcels off there? - or do you have to be a registered delivery service?

Per usual all ebay help is hopeless & helpless..

I’ve had exactly the same thing with a few items I’ve sold recently.

Enter the post code to get a quote from any online service and it’s recognised as an eBay GSP place.

No need for expensive signed for delivery as every parcel requires a unique ID provided by eBay.

You get an email saying it’s arrived at the GSP place and then sometime latter another email saying it’s been delivered to its final destination.

Unlike anything eBay, in my experience this is a simple painless process

go and find out and report back I cant see why not as I have used various couriers to send stuff there

I doubt it, but will watch with interest out of curiosity.

A quick google throws this up which suggests you can’t drop of a parcel yourself

Makes sense as the place won’t be geared up for dealing with human beings at a counter service
