Easy to use video editing software? (You tube)

I am going to finally start doing some you tube videos on my various classic MB projects.

Is there an easy, beginners level software I can use? The video editing, stiching various recordings or images together is what puts me off the most. I think the actual conrent will be pretty easy as I do the work anyway.

Can you point me in the direction of some simple free software that’s easy to use

I’ve been playing with 4K on my canon and have captured some good video of an industrial process ive been looking at recently.

Now it will be good if I can stitch it all together to make a short film

Bear in mind I’m a dumb ass with computers so it has to be idiot proof

Thats a 5 year old thread!

Alot can change in 5 years in regard to software so im looking for current recommendations.
