earth cable

the earth cable on my MIG is not very long, what can i use to replace it so i can have a longer stretch

go to a welding supplies and purchase a length of welding cable the same size. a couple of meters extra wont afect the current rating

Get some jumper cables and stick a decent clamp on the end.

I has some with broked croc clips and used the Black cable with a 200amp clamp off ebay

I se a length of bar, clip the earth to that and vice grip that where you want it.
Better to replace the cable with a longer bit if its very short though.
