Those are very nice, but if you are just sticking a bit of farm machinery back together you just need to get on with it, not practice till you can do that...!
imo when you can put these down on a flat plate in your sleep with no guiding marks , then your ready to move on. i guess it all depends what skill level you want to get to. just trying to help but do as you wish
I'm just a simple hobby welder, so not looking to pass any welding tests. As long as the welds don't fall apart or break, I'll be happy. If I make nice looking welds, I'm even happier. For what I'll be doing, they'll suffice.
