Dymo label printers - it's all Mig forum's fault!

Someone menioned label printers on here a few months back. It is yet another collecting illness that I didn't need FFS :doh:

Current status-

5xl is very good. Prints full 6x4 postage labels which is very handy. Although the 5XL only uses genuine labels. One spool will last me years anyway.

Label printers with all important heat shrink tubing-

The 6000 I just got. Im curious to compare it to the 5200's. The 6000 will connect to a PC or laptop also. I know logically I cannot keep all of these but for now it is what it is!

I still shudder with relief when I recall waking up on a Sunday morning, around 20 years ago, to an email from ebay saying I'd been outbid on a fullsize pinball machine that was in Hastings!

I have one like your first pic apart from it's the 450 Turbo model, don't know what the difference is. I used it when selling stuff on Ebay, but not used it for a few years now.

It amazes me that the 6x4 address label printers are reasonably priced- unless you want wireless- then they become hundreds of pounds!!

I got my one for a good price on ebay:

It had 178 shipping labels left. (The machine says how many left on the spool) That will last me years.

You all need one.

A dymo printer to me is this - was my dads - found it at my mums two years ago. Used to label his machines up with it. Now I look at it closely, it doesn't actually appear to be one, although that's all he ever called it.
