I received a RFL reminder for my 1950 PU last month. Everytime I try to complete on their website it says I need an MOT.
It's pre 1960 does not require one but you can still have one if you wish. I chose not to.
So Saturday I called them up, and while I couldn't get to the bottom of it, the Guy could see it had been Taxed last Aug, and didn't have an MOT then.
He said it was because the V5C was incomplete, however when I applied [Aug 2013]for a reg at Beverly the guy while been a stickler, said it didn't matter about lack of info. As it was clearly pre '60.
I was happy to only supply scant info, because of possible mods in the future.
suggestion on how to tackle this. I've already been told I will need to write to either manufacturer or a Club/body to confirm age. Tell them it stopped production in '54 doesn't mean a jot.
