I found this place http://www.duplicolor.com/products/bedArmorAerosol/ check out the 'protection products' at the bottom.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has used these paints, they look quite good. Some of it is for hard wearing trucks etc.

Do you think that type of stuff would be better to use than usual 1k stonechip, or apply it on top of stonechip ?

Ive just read the ebay info and its a 2k paint that can be roller or brushed on and if it will work on top of the stonechip already applied this could be good stuff to use ?

i think its pretty tough for use on a truck bed

not sure id fancy my chances over multiple coats of stonechip etc

I used 2 coats of stonechip, i have asked the ebay seller if its ok to use, it does take solvent based tinter though.

update

I have just received a reply and was told as long as i abrade the surface it is perfectly fine to use on top of the stonechip. This seems to be far better than the plastidip

I also mentioned about the ebay add not stating that an air fed mask is needed when spraying this product, he said its a good point and will be sorting that part out. He said he expects pro painters to buy it but will change it in case a member of the public buys and uses it incorrectly.

There was one thing i didn't ask the technical adviser, which type of pile should i go for.

I guess short pile would be more suitable pile for this rapture paint ?
