Ducting

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction....

i am in the process of redoing my workshop, insulation and acoustic board is being delivered Monday. I am looking for some flexible metal ducting to run from my powder coating cure oven through the wall to vent outside. The ID of the vent Hole is only 52 mm. The only stuff i have found in the right size in flexible ducting won't be able to handle the heat and the only metal ducting I have come across is rigid

any suggestions or places to source would be much appreciated

Stainless flu liner available from any plumbing or builders merchants but you need a bigger hole

Don't really want to increase the size of the vent of the oven, and it might be that size for a reason?

I'm trying to avoid getting a reducer as it's just extra cost and if the vent pipe is too large the exhaust may cool to quickly making it inefficient and I don't want a build up of fumes in the oven.

go down an exhaust supplier. u can get flexible steel exhaust pipe in various sizes http://www.flexiducting.co.uk/metal_hoses_17.html start trawling the net for cheapest price

looks like aluminium ducting, should be able to cope with a 200 degree c oven?

Chester Exhaust Supplies (CES) usually keep flexible exhaust on the shelf in 2m lengths and a range of diameters. Might be worth a look. They are on the sealand industrial estate from memory.

Didn't even think of ces, not my usual parts place but a bloody good place to deal with. Ordered the stuff in the link now but thanks anyway
