They're really designed for use in a lathe mill or pedestal drill. In thick and hard materials so once they get cutting g they are fine.
the correct wheel for tct drills and carbide tipped lathe tools is a green silicon carbide wheel http://www.axminster.co.uk/silicon-carbide-green-grinding-wheelsDo a search for locksmiths hard plate drills, you should find a good few people selling (TCT) tungsten carbide tip drills for metal. Should do the job.
verry true . depends on how much u have to spend and what use u will get out of itIf you're going to put a cutting edge for drilling then a diamond wheel is what you want. A green wheel will put an edge on it that looks like someone did it with a chainsaw, when viewed under a magnifying glass.
Just a quicky. I dont know but they way they get excited I guess 12.9 is hard steel?? Anyway look for yourself.
Comments??
Surprised they did not break the drill bit, it was very bent as they they withdrew it, and magically it returned straight to finish off the cut.looked like anyother drill drilling anyother bolt tbh
