Dremel 3000 now £28 at Amazon UK

I avoid using Amazon now because they are tax dodgers, but thought I would post this as Dremels are not often reduced and £28 is a good price. You get the Dremel tool, 15 accessories and a bag. The blue box accessories pack is also reduced a bit, now down to £20.

Can't do a link on my phone but Google Dremel 3000 at Amazon UK and it comes up. I have used my Dremel lots on my car project and find it a really useful bit of kit. Shame the genuine cutting discs aren't cheaper.

I don't mind that they dodge tax, each to their own, if it means lower prices for me then im happy to use them. cant afford to be picky

Just out of interest, when did you last contact HMRC and ask if you could pay more tax than you were legally required to?

Amazon had UK sales of £3.35 billion in 2011, with a "tax expense" of £1.8 million. Whilst I wouldn't contact the tax office to see if I should pay more, neither would I pay myself through Luxemburg with a myriad of complex structures to avoid what other companies pay. There's (barely) legal and there is moral and I now shop elsewhere if possible. Of course, when the hospitals shut I will be straight on to Amazon for next day delivery of bandages etc.

I got a cheapie Dremel clone - Macallister - from B and Q for a fiver in the sale, which I keep as a spare. They aren't quite as smooth or as powerful as the real thing, but certainly worth having. The Aldi accessories kit is good too, though I have found the cutting discs to fracture easily.

These are now £25. They were £23, but by the time I got round to posting they had put them up. Presume it is some sort of price match thing.
