I use that or qcad for quick basic stuff

Inkscape for more graphic based jobs.

Pretty much the same as myself, sometimes do the arty stuff in inkscape then import into emachine shop, or other way round,

I thought it would be easy in fusion 360 but nothing IS..lol

It is easy in Fusion 360, you just need to know how.
