Not mine and I know nowt about them.
Cutting some 3 and 6mm sheet with torch and fella says his plasma cutter is the bee knees, but he has been having trouble with it.
So I have a go and yes its crap! the arc seems to be dancing side to side rather than going straight down, I am not sure what its meant to do?
He reckon it was working fine and I looked at some of his cuts they were pretty neat, then for some reason it seeemd to down rate itself and would only do a 1 to 2mm deep cut but no more.
It has got all new shroud, copper rivet type thing in the end and a contact tip, he also got a small white round bit with holes in that he reckoned was not on the machine originally.
With shroud and rivet thing removed the brass female boss looks like it has been arc damaged, not fatally in my eyes, but I dont know how fussy these things are.
It is a Draper 40A model bought from toolstaion for 300 quid.
Running on a proper 32A supply down the yard, decent manly extension cable.
4.5 bar air pressure on the gauge.
The time we spent faffing I could have done the job quicker with the torch, but by the looks of what he has done so far not as neat.
