I have one of these but no manual or otherwise - can anyone point me in the direction of the manufacturer etc?
The machine does not power up at all so looking for any info before I go digging inside
Draper probably do the same as Clarke, buy the machines in badged to their own brand. AFAIK Clarke welders are made by Telwin, so there's a chance that the innards of a Draper & Clarke will be pretty similar.
Clarke manuals can be downloaded from their website, see our Links section for the link.
Thanks, I believe the machine could be quite old - pre 1995 judging by the telephone number for Draper on the label so online manual could be difficult.
I've got it turning on now but no tip in the torch could easily be the problem!
The machine has a rotary knob numbered 0,1,2,3,0,4,5,6 clockwise (0 at top) and a wire speed rotary adjustment. wire feed roller is either 0.6 or 0.8 I'm guessing the first one will be the voltage with 4, 5 or 6 for the 0.8 wire?
Separate C02 bottle and the solenoid in the machine not the torch. Have ordered some tips and we'll see how that goes.
