If you find the dimensions, they are 180mm dia., so will not go in a 110mm pipe.

They are designed to go in a 110mm gulley, which is not the same as a 110mm pipe.

Like many things pipe-related (BSP threads), the 110mm in the description bears only circumstantial connection to its actual dimension.
They are designed specifically so you cannot put them directly onto a pipe for a drainage application: if you did every bit of dirt will go straight down the pipe instead of into the sediment trap at the bottom of the hopper. Every rat in the county would use the pipe as Highway 61. The smell would also come up without a trap.

They might need a cable tie or similar to keep the grating in place if used in anything other than a vertical position. Even if the grating were used flat, a dog might lick the cover out if it is trying to get to the smelly thing below it.
Thanks everyone - I've heard back from the supplier, and top marks today go to @Agroshield - he's quoted almost exactly what the supplier said. They are way too big.
So - quick change of tack, and have start down the route @8ob suggested with ducting vents - 4" I reckon is the common size, but I can probably work with that!!
