best drain the lot off if u can and the radiators. the heating pipes will freeze as well if not in use/ frost will expand and split the pipes and blow the joints
If you are concerned about radiators you would be better to put in and inhibitor - antifreeze because if you drain them all of the time it will not only rust the inside of the radiators but you may also find you end up with alot of air locks. This should protect them from freezing down to about -40 depending on mix

if its a vented system with a header tank cut the water supply 2 it and drain some water out of the system. buy some fernox and tip it into the header tank and refill . turn system on and run through

You can get Fernox inhibitor that comes in a cartridge that fits in a standard gun and you inject it into a radiator air vent.

My preferred method is to turn of a rad at both sides remove both the air vent and the plug opposite if they are 1/2 bsp. drain off enough water from the bottom connections, screw an elbow into one end (a 15mm compression elbow will fit) and pour in the inhibitor if you don't remove both plugs the air will keep spitting the inhibitor back at you.
You can tip it into the f&e tank if you have an open vented system BUT it will probably stay there unless you drain enough water out of the system to empty the tank and then some. If you do this make sure you save a bit to treat the tank when you refill it.
Check what you buy because most inhibitors do not include antifreeze.
