doubt regarding welding technology.

Dear Sir/Madam;

Myself Rinku Kumar Gouda doing my master of design course in IIITD&M kancheepuram, I am presently working on the structural analysis of plates.

I want to do TIG welding on stainless steel(SS316L) plate with a filler rod of same material ie. stainless steel(SS316L).

Sir i want to know the property(like density,youngs modulus,poission ratio,etc.) of the weld pool. Wheather their will be any change in the property due to high temperature in the weld pool during welding and due to large grain size because of high temp. or i can take the property same as that of the stainless steel and i will be happy if u can throw some light on it.

depends where you would use those properties for.
For structural calculations, the values are to be multiplied by partial factors in the national codes - in europe, it's the EUROCODES.
