Ok here's a thing , I'm fitting a new wooden window its the last one out of ten that I have made for this house . I picked up the glass yesterday from town and the glazier has made the units out of 4mm and 5mm glass with a 6mm spacer .. so that give an overall thickness of 15 mm,and the rebates I have cut are 30mm so that leaves plenty of space to pin in the wooden beads
I'm happy with that I guess it save a bit of weight over the six 400mmx300mm panes ... My question is shall I put the 5mm glass on the inside or the outside will it make any difference ?... to be honest I did'nt notice if he had done the same with the other 9 windows ....jeff....
