gentlemen,

need to make and hang a big shed door, door will be 15ft wide and 14ft high

the frame will be from 1.5" pipe and I suppose 3 internal supports cross ways

sheeting will be corrugated sheet vertical

the track is what I am thinking about at the min any suggestions?

thinking of using 70mm track welded to a 4" channel on edge and 2 roller hangers one at each end

any links for track and roller setups? want to price rollers on line as are small light and easy to ship so could make a saving I reckon

Box section would be much easier to fabricate the frame in, and to clad....

pipe will be used due to being able to get it pre galvanized, can't get box in pre galvanized form

A frame to the measurments you have can be galv coated no probs
Have got 17ftx13ft done before in galco in dublin

using pre coated makes the job a bit quicker but be careful with fumes that's a really big door you might need at least one up right as pipe is more flexible then box. there wont be much different in price between 2 in. and 1.5 if you could then go to the 2 in. 30' of 4 in. channel will cost you a bit and seems overkill but im not sure what you should use maybe someone can point you in the right direction

Try Butlers steel for the box section, they used do it cause I bought a few lenghts a while ago. As scarecrow said watch out for the fumes, I used an air fed shield. Otherwise galco are good value.

I sound very biased towards box section but I just don't like working with tube.
