when i was younger
working for a card board place making boxes and other stuff there was 2 of us good friends when on the job
there was a card board crusher on site only thing we was told is throw bits of card board in there but dont go behind the chain when in motion well
we did sometimes cardboard was being awkward only when ram was 1-2 ft forward both watching one person all the time ready to stop machine
when i look back at it i think crazy at the time
running circular saw cutting cardboard to size id been warning him of the dangers he was younger than me and i was fully aware of the danger these machines can cause
the other thing i was running the machine one end he was at other side taking off id warned him about the machine and to keep hands away at certain points when unloading it by hand
id also shown him the front side of it and warned him how bad it was if got caught well i took poorly bad bitter sick as a parrot
he then run the machine and it got him taking his hands into the machine on the press rollers lucky they was able to stop the machine
he came in with bad hands and we chatted as he tried to work again im first aid certificated only one on site when other was off
you could see he couldnt work with his hands i just told him to go office and speak to them
i didnt last long here before i moved on again for another job
