Looking for a connector i can screw into a flat plastic pipe. Its acting as a gutter to collect a small amount of water. (cut into half)
I want to use push fit 6mm pipe from an irrigation kit bit cant find a screw connector that i can fit into the pipe.
Not sure what to search for.

Well something like it. But thats a bulk head connector.
Its more like this

But thats a 15mm version. The water is not going to be very deep ( i hope) so i need the run off to be as low as possible.

So take the bulkhead fitting, cut it down, file one of the nuts thinner, fit to gutter ?

I was hoping for a non messing solution but as i have to use silicon to seal the connectors i might just turn down a straight and leave very little thread but silicon it in. To be honest i am overthinking it as I always do.. Lol

How is this pipe normally joined? Solvent weld would be a big advantage here as you could glue on a standard endcap, cut it in half and then drill at its lowest point for the bulkhead connector above.

To get your 'low as possible', you need something non-concentric (eccentric reducer or fitting), and that is not so eeasy to find.

Personally, id be getting a bit of compatible plastic and just turn a 6mm tube, bond that to your existing bit however you need to, then just use a straight speed fit connector to attach your outgoings pipe.

Take a look on Amazon at 6mm push fit fittings. You'll have to drill and tap your guttering but there's a wide selection of threaded to push fit pneumatic fittings.

Think the brass nuts variety can be even thinner.

I have now 3D printed a nut and i am going to drill a hole and thread the fitting in. Then bond the nut to the gutter.
