done welding but need advice

hello guys and girls I need some advice, I have a welding and fabrication course at college for two years in which I obtained city and guilds qualifications and an abc technical , but I can seem to get a job in this industry because people say I dont have experience and I was just wondering on any advice please cheers

Same old story. Ask if you can work for a year for peanuts to get some experience. You might be able to top up your earnings with working tax credits.

It's like that every where ! and in all actuality they are right, you have to have working expirience, and you don't have that yet, those courese are designed so you won't be completly ignorant when you start, it happened to to me you got to get in and then show what you can do and relearn the way it's really done,,,,sorry

yeah thTS ALL GOOD, I FEEL I CAN WELD FINE WANT TO IMPROVE MY WELDING AND FABCRCATION A BIT, BUT YEAH

i had same problem and even offered to work at places at the weekend for free just to get experiance.just got to keep trying
