Me being the cheapskate that I am I never let anything slip past me, espicially when I hear domestic appliences are being binned! Washing machine, tumble drier, microwave etc I've taken apart in the past, keep useful bits, keep bits which might be useful (including screws/bolts in good condition ) then dispose of anything I'me pretty certain won't need/are completely knackered. I try to find use's for bits, made a bin out of the modified microwave shell, and a tool rack from the drawers in a washing machine. The odds and ends of metal always come in handy for making brackets etc for motorbikes/scooters
Anyway, took apart a family member's old washing machine today, and was left with this main part of the drum -
Now I just know it has a use, can't think what I could turn it in to though? Seems a shame to cut up a nice ready formed drum (with holes either end )
Anyone got any suggestions for it's reincarnation?
