Why? I posted a link to a belt that was half the price and a good brand.

It costs £30 to have "Miele" stamped on the belt.

Genuine Ducati cambelts
are shipped from Italy and when they arrive they have Gates UK written on them.

£120 for a pair, probably £20 each if they were for a car!.

You can actually fit Renault belts to some but not a chance when it's customers bike in for service, genuine only..

There's a bit of a difference between a belt that is responsible for critical engine timing and spins at 13k rpm and a tumble dryer though.

£120 a pair isn't hideous really. I would never put cheap timing belts on a vehicle.

Me neither, always try and find Gates belts for all my vehicles.

I missed that. But ordered one anyway as it's the same for the replacement machine I bought. Handy to have a spare.
