wasnt any noticable defects in the tyre, good brands too

It will be there, have seen many tyre specialists miss them, one guy had his wheels balanced 3times by three different places, jacked it up quick spin and bingo,-------- you have to spin the tyre and watch the tread if it wavers thats the problem you can also sumtimes see the tread wears slightly more in one spot.

yeah i recon it must be , running true at straight ahead then with a bit of steering on the side wall was going wobbly
